Arabian Nights

Part 1
  • ·      The begging of the storied takes in Persia
  • ·      There is a evil Sultan who lives there named Schariar.
  • ·      One day he had a wife that he loved so much. She betrayed his trust and Schariar became enraged and had her killed.  Since then the Sultan marries a new wife every day and has her killed.
  • ·      Scheherazade is a woman who offered herself to him. It seems like she has a plan. During the night before she is to die, she decided to tell him a story.
  • ·      She told him a story about a merchant and the Genius.
  • ·      There was a man who was walking in the woods and accidently killed the Genius’s son.  The Genius was enraged and picked the merchant up and was about to kill him.
  • ·      At this moment it was daybreak and Scheherazade begged for the Sultan to let her live for another night to tell the story, and she continued.
  • ·      While begging for his life the merchant was granted a year to spend time with his family and say his goodbyes.  After doing so the merchant went back to the spot like he promised to meet the Genius.
  • ·      He encountered 3 old men who felt sorry for him and wanted to watch what would take place.
  • ·      The genius came back and was going to kill the merchant, but the first old man stopped him and asked for one-third pardon for the merchant if he liked the story.
  • ·      With this the story of the man and his deer began.
  • ·      Right now there is a story within a story and it seems like that Scheherazade is trying to tell an infinite amount of stories.
  • ·      After the first old man told his story, so did the other two.
  • ·      They let the merchant escape his fate and live happy.
  • ·      Scheherazade told the Sultan that she had a better story, so started the Fisherman tale.
  • ·      This one was about a fisherman who told a lantern at sea with a Genius in it. He was about to kill him but the fisherman tricked him into going back in it.
  • ·      The fisherman began to tell a story of his own now.
  • ·      Within the fisherman story the King begins to tell his own vizir another story.
  • ·      The story of the parrot followed by the story of the ogress.
  • ·      At the end the king and doctor died, so now we go back to the fisherman story.
  • ·      The last story in this part is of the Young king and the Black Isles. End the end both the fisherman and the Sultan had a happy ending.
  • ·      Now We are skipping to the story of Aladdin.
pPart 2

  • ·      Aladdin was a poor young boy who played outside everyday.
  • ·      His father had died due the sadness he faced with Aladdin playing, and one day a magician came to him.
  • ·      He tricked Aladdin into going into the place and getting a lamp for him, but he couldn’t get it.  He left instantly.
  • ·      The magician didn’t know that Aladdin still had a ring and he rubbed it on accident and a genius came out.
  • ·      Aladdin realizes that he has 2 Genius now and will use then for his wishes.
  • ·      He plans on marrying the princess but the Sultan broke his 3-month promise he had to wait, so Aladdin asked the Genius to bring the princess to his bed
  • ·      There they slept ad she was terrified. At daybreak, she teleported back.
  • ·      He did this for some nights until the vizir didn’t want to marry the princess.
  • ·      So next in line was Aladdin. After some tasks required by the sultan, Aladdin finally won the princess and they married. He builds a huge beautiful palace for her.
  • ·      Aladdin was very caring and nice to the people. He became well respected and a high ranked military officer.
  • ·      The magician from before finds out the Aladdin is still alive and prospering. He becomes enrages and goes to search for him.
  • ·      Doing so the magician took the lamp and rubbed it. The genius took Aladdin’s palace and wife back to African.
  • ·      Aladdin asked the genius on his ring to take him to his wife and he did.
  • ·      Aladdin asks the princess to act like she is no longer said for him, and to prepare dinner for him.
  • ·      She did this and tricked him into drinking a poisonous drink.  Which killed him and Aladdin got his lamp back.
  • ·      The danger was not over for the magician had an evil brother, who tried to trick the princess into making a wish that would enrage the genius. When the genius heard this wish he warned Aladdin of the brother and he went to kill him.
  • ·      The two lived happily after that.
